A regular scheduled Planning Commission meeting was called to order at 6:30 p.m. in the meeting room at the Library by Chairman Mel Joos.

Present for Roll Call were Commissioners Mel Joos, Doug Wilson, Mike Brown, Bill Hartter, Jeff Borders and Gary Moehle. Commissioners Jeff Fuerst, Bill Bradle and Arnold Wiltz were absent.

Also present was P&D Director Jon Oliphant and City Clerk/Planning Commission Secretary Carol Moss.

Commissioner Moehle moved and Commissioner Borders seconded to approve the minutes of the October 3, 2007 Planning Commission meeting, as presented. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote.

There was no Old Business and first order of New Business was election of officers. Commissioner Hartter moved and Commissioner Wilson seconded to nominate Mel Joos as Chairman for the upcoming year. There were no other nominations and Commissioner Moehle moved that nominations be closed with a second from Commissioner Brown. 
Motion carried unanimously by voice vote, and Mel Joos will serve as Chairman of the Planning Commission for the upcoming year.

Commissioner Moehle moved to nominate Doug Wilson as Vice Chairman and Chairman Joos seconded. There were no other nominations and Commissioner Moehle moved and Commissioner Brown seconded that nominations be closed. 
Motion carried unanimously by voice vote, and Doug Wilson will serve as Planning Commission Vice Chairman for the upcoming year.

Commissioner Brown moved and Commissioner Hartter seconded to approve the Annual Report of the City of Washington Planning Commission as presented. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote.

There was no additional business and at 6:34 p.m. Commissioner Borders moved and Commissioner Brown seconded to adjourn. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote.
