9-1-1 DISPATCHER POSITION

The Washington Police Department is accepting applications for Part Time Dispatcher.

Applications may be obtained at the Washington Police Dept. 115 W. Jefferson Street, Washington, IL, 61571. Position will remain open until filled. Applicants must have a clear speaking voice; a high school diploma or GED equivalent; experience with the public is desirable; computer knowledge a must; must pass a computer typing test (35-word minimum), a filing test and a numbers aptitude test; candidate must successfully pass a background investigation. High probability of working 2^nd (4pm-12am) or 3^rd (12am – 8am) shifts.  Salary for Part Time Dispatcher is $11.84
